Well I’ve completed the first four weeks of the learn to run program offered through Northern Sports. Week 5 starts tonight. Here’s the plan for Week 5: Run 8 minutes, walk 1 minute, run eight minutes, walk 2 minutes.
I had a hiccup in the third week when I started experiencing some pain in my feet. However, they’ve felt better since I purchased a new pair of shoes. I’m really determined to compelete the course. By the end of the 10th week, I’ll be running 30 minutes without stopping, which amounts to 5 km.
